A life long knitter, I have spent the past 16 years raising three children in three different countries. The one constant element in this chaotic life has been my knitting. The children and the countries have been huge sources of inspiration to me and my knitting has been a reflection of all my adventures.
Wilde Thyme was the name of my grandmother’s house. Built by my grandfather on the side of a hill in the UK, it backed on to woodland, which in turn overlooked a quintessentially English rural landscape. It was the scene of many long, warm summer vacations, filled with simple pleasures. As a child, it was my sanctuary; a place of peace and natural beauty filled with love and laughter. It was also the place where, thanks to my grandmother’s infinite patience, I learned to knit.
